“Mama” was the only name I was calling when I was a little boy. “Papa” I could not call because he was not around and will never be. A father was somebody who I never knew. He passed away before I was born.
“Mama” told me only the little information she could remember about him and Show me only “one” photograph ................. What he liked and how he died ............................... CONTEMPLATING ABOUT LOVE I CAME TO MY EARLY YEARS WITHOUT MY FATHER WHOM I NEVER SAW
HE DIED BEFORE I WAS BORN THESE WORKS EXPRESS MY EMOTIONS LOVING AND MISSING HIM IN MY LIFE THE BLANK UPSIDE DOWN FIGURE REPRESENT MY FATHER THE BRIGHT COLORS EXPRESS THE FREEDOM OF LOVE FOR HIM THE LETTERS REPRESENTS SOME KIND OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN US STATEMENT In my work I am dealing with the theme “Death and love”, Because of things that happened to me When I was a child And also things that affect me everyday in my life. My father was somebody who I never knew; He died before I was born. Because of not knowing him and being A father now I really realize what I missed when I was a child. In my paintings I’m trying to get answers about things That Happened to me and to express my emotion Of loving and missing Him in my life......... |
